To achieve the foundations objective, several lines of action have been displayed. We want to highlight three among them.

Grants for investigation

In order to carry out studies to promote sustainable development in Third World countries; in social, cultural, educational, technological and economic fields. The grants are not destined exclusively to the university field. They can also be awarded to associations and organisations that want to dispose an analysis and a previous diagnostic of the design of the cooperation programs or the implementation of their projects can benefit from it, in order to encourage, in the most adequate and efficient way, their performances in the ambit of the development (shorten) . This line of work was initiated from the very 2001 year.

Third-cycle students

This programme aims to identify, select, manage, finance and accompany the stay of graduate students from developing countries for education in Spanish universities. It is an intricate programme that has required two years of preparation and its implementation began in the 2011-2012 academic year with the stay of the first student. Access to this type of studies aims to provide students, the necessary academic and professional knowledge in such that, once they return to their home country, they can help with its development. Students without financial means to carry such studies are chosen to benefit from grant, with brilliant academic records.

Promoting the interchange of opinions, experiences and knowledge between its members

In order to contribute to the debate and critical analysis of economical, social and cultural issues of contemporary interest, periodically, different meetings are organised, so that different experts can provide their knowledge about common interest issues: cooperation strategies focused on the Third World, the sustainable development of the economy, the challenges of the intercultural society, etc.
